Welcome to the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH)’s site for providers and trading partners who wish to exchange HIPAA-compliant claim information with DHMH.  The following DHMH Programs are supported:

Breast and Cervical Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment (BCCDT)

Kidney Disease Program (KDP)

The use of the portal assumes the provider is familiar with HIPAA requirements in general, and the HIPAA X12 requirements in particular.  The ANSI ASC X12N Implementation Guides can be accessed at http://www.wpc-edi.com/Insurance_40.asp.  Companion Guides with Program-specific X12 specifications are available for BCCDT and KDP.

You must be a provider or trading partner participating in one of the DHMH Programs listed above (BCCDT, KDP) to use the eClaims Portal.  If you are not currently an authorized provider and wish to become one, please follow the information given in the Quick Start Portal Guide for BCCDT or KDP.

If you are an authorized provider and have a signed User Agreement form approved by DHMH you can use your User ID and Password to access the Portal.

If you are already an authorized provider but do not yet have an account to use the Portal then you will need to complete User Agreement forms (one for each person who will use the Portal).  Follow the steps given in the Quick Start Portal Guide for BCCDT or KDP.
